High-Definition Flexo Plates: Kodak Flexcel NX & Esko LAMS.
We eliminate technical compromise by running the packaging industry's two leading digital platemaking workflows side by side under one roof in Chandigarh.
Kodak Flexcel NX System
The global benchmark for wide-web flexible packaging, barrier films, and high-speed laminate printing.
Flat-Top Dot Architecture (Oxygen-Free Exposure)
Traditional digital flexo plates suffer from oxygen inhibition during UV main exposure, creating rounded, cone-shaped dots that squash under press impression. Kodak Flexcel NX utilizes a thermal imaging layer laminated under vacuum, completely excluding oxygen to create 1:1 flat-top dots with square, sturdy shoulders.
Advanced Surface Micro-Screening (NX Tags)
Flat-top dots are paired with microscopic texturing (NX surface screening tags). This texture transfers ink more efficiently from the anilox roll to the film substrate, delivering higher solid optical density (SID), zero pinholing, and clean reverse lettering—using up to 15% less ink.
Kiss-Impression Press Latitude
Flat-top dots do not distort under standard kiss-impression shifts on high-speed central impression (CI) flexo presses, drastically slashing make-ready times and eliminating color drift across 50,000+ meter runs.
Esko LAMS Platemaking
High-definition laser ablation masking for intricate label typography, micro-text, barcodes, and versatile packaging substrates.
High-Resolution Masking
Direct laser imaging onto the black mask layer ensures crisp vector edges, precise trapping, and sharp line-work essential for pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and wine labels.
Multi-Substrate Versatility
Supports diverse photopolymer types (from 1.14mm to 2.84mm) tailored to narrow-web presses, seamless cylindrical tubes, corrugated boxes, and paper packaging.
Five plates. One flawless high-barrier pouch.
Toggle individual ink channels to inspect how highlight micro-dots, solid ink layers, and precision barrier whites combine on high-speed web presses.
Oxygen-Free Flat-Top Dot Architecture
Eliminates dot deformation under impression fluctuations, holding micro-highlights down to 0.8% without highlight drop-off or dirty printing.
Micron Trapping & Pull-Back Calibration
Tailored pull-back margins prevent unsightly white halos or ink bleeding around dark typography and bar codes at 300+ meters per minute.
High Solid Optical Density (SID)
Micro-textured plate surface laydown ensures pinhole-free, saturated solids across aluminum foil, metallized films, and PE pouches.
Photopolymer Plate Calibers & Relief Depths
Strict relief-depth and durometer standards maintained across all plate thicknesses.
